Short Version
Do not use RefinedHost for illegal activity, abuse, attacks, malware, spam, or anything that harms other users or infrastructure.
- Minecraft servers, plugins, mods, and files must be lawful and safe.
- Stay within the fair resource limits of your plan.
- We may suspend services quickly if they create security, abuse, or stability risk.
Not Allowed
These activities are prohibited.
- Malware, phishing, credential theft, botnets, spam, or denial-of-service activity.
- Harassment, threats, illegal content, or content that creates a serious safety risk.
- Attacking, scanning, exploiting, or attempting unauthorized access to other systems.
- Hosting or distributing content you do not have the rights to use.
Resource Abuse
Plans are meant for Minecraft hosting, not unrelated high-load workloads.
- Do not bypass limits, evade rate limits, abuse storage or bandwidth, or interfere with other customers.
- Do not mine cryptocurrency or run unrelated public proxies.
- If your server causes repeated node issues, support may ask you to optimize, upgrade, or remove problematic software.
Plugins, Mods, and Files
You are responsible for anything you install.
- Use lawful server jars, mods, plugins, datapacks, and assets.
- Remove compromised or malicious software immediately.
- Poorly configured plugins or mods may still violate this policy if they create abuse or stability problems.
Enforcement
We try to be practical, but urgent issues may require fast action.
- Services may be suspended, restricted, or terminated for policy violations.
- Emergency mitigation may happen before notice when needed to protect the platform.
- Support can review enforcement questions after the immediate risk is handled.
